Bring a little of the wonder of the natural world to your correspondence with this collection of note cards featuring my original octopus gyotaku prints.
Gyotaku is the traditional Japanese art of printing directly from nature. By carefully applying ink or pigment to an octopus and pressing paper against its surface, I capture the remarkable textures, flowing arms, and intricate details of this fascinating creature. Each impression becomes both a record of the animal and an original work of art.
This assortment includes five different octopus compositions, reproduced from my original artwork. Whether you're writing a thank-you note, sending an encouraging word, or giving a thoughtful gift, these cards offer a beautiful alternative to ordinary stationery.
Each set includes:
-
10 note cards featuring 5 unique designs (2 of each)
-
Matching envelopes
-
Blank interiors for your personal messages
-
