In this piece, the lonely but majestic brown trout swims at the apex of a school of beautiful rainbow trout. All are swimming together on the rustic chiri paper.
Printed with Charbonnel oil-based inks and finished with India ink and water color. Wet mounted for archival stability and rigidity.
Chiri is Japanese for rubbish and this kind of washi is full of beautiful pieces of wood and pulp for an Asian-influenced rustic feel.
This piece has been professionally framed by Frank Shepherd at Frame Wrights and must be picked up locally.
