Local blackberry plant inked and hand-printed on ma (hemp) infused mulberry paper. Oil-based ink is cut with just a little bit of gold to give a subtle shimmer to the ink. The print is wet-mounted into another piece of ma which maintains the translucency and light capturing properties of the paper. It's hard to capture it with photography, you really have to see it in person.
This series has a handful of similar prints, but no two are identical. Each was hand-inked and hand-pulled separately.
Presented in an 11 x 14 mat so it will drop into any standard frame.
