I taught a summer camp with some elementary school kids. Our goal was to print leaves and fish but I quickly realized that most of the class had never caught a fish. So I quickly got permission from another teacher who lived in the neighborhood with an accessible pond. The next day the kids and I all went fishing and this is one of the bluegill that one of the kids caught. It came from a small neighborhood at the foot of Lookout Mountain, Tennessee.
In case you were one of the folks who stopped my my booth at Made South, this is one of the fish I was using as a demo.
The actual dimensions of this piece are 12 by 16. It's a standard frame size so it will drop into any frame you could buy at the store. It's printed with oil-based inks on 100% cotton fabric. The water is painted with acrylic paint. I have some more of these that I'll be listing over the next week or two. Feel free to send me a message if you'd like any more information.
